I couldn't wait for their Stage2 MAF to come out and plus they offered me credit towards the purchase of one(about $120) so I went ahead and bought it. This upgrade alone had nice results the first time I went to the track. With just this upgrade and nothing else, I ran a 14.49 for my 1/4 mile.

Also seen in the picture above is the throttle body spacer which also cools down intake temperatures. With this spacer, the TB is cool to the touch.

UPDATE: Well.. RAT finally got the Stage2 in. I was umong the many who waited months for this product to ship out. The Stage2 id ported and polished with recalibrated electronics. According to RAT dyno testing, this modification claims 22 or more horsepower at the wheels. For $600+ it is quite an expensive modification. I don't believe this mod is a good $$/HP change. UPDATE(9/25/99): RAT sent me the wrong Stage2 after months of me telling them I had a 1999 model. This screwed things up totally... giving me rough idle problems and stalling occasionally. Since they had such a hard time getting everything straightened out.. I have now gone back to a stock setup. Apparently... since about 10/01/99 RATs customer service has supposedly improved... oh well.. too late now.. I will have to stick with the stocker... below is a picture of the difference between a 99 and a 97/98 throttle body.
