My car came with the Bose option and sounded nice... but I needed more! The Bose speakers
ran at 2 Ohms.. which would explain why the Bose amp was so small... but I wanted more mid
bass and clearer highs.. so I decided to replace my Bose amp, as well as the front speakers, and
rear 6x9's.
I originally just had a Pioneer GM-X502 powering a 10" bandpass sub... but
I replaced them with: Ryan from WDCCGP helped me out.. thanks for all the patience RYAN!!! if you have some questions about stereo... dccato@aol.com may be able to help :) It sounds a lot clearer now.. I just can't describe it... time to save up for a new headunit now!!! :) These are just preliminary pictures, more to come soon showing the setup. I got a lot of information on the install from the ClubGP audio site. For those of you with Bose systems and would like to tap high level inputs to your amps but dont know what color wires to tap into.. here you go... this is from the connector connecting to the Bose amplifier. It uses a common grounding system:
