New Stereo Equipment!
Pictures
My car came with the Bose option and sounded nice... but I needed more! The Bose speakers ran at 2 Ohms.. which would explain why the Bose amp was so small... but I wanted more mid bass and clearer highs.. so I decided to replace my Bose amp, as well as the front speakers, and rear 6x9's.

I originally just had a Pioneer GM-X502 powering a 10" bandpass sub... but I replaced them with:

  • Pionner TSA-6969 4-way rear 6x9's (28-30kHz;2-60W RMS;93dB;220W Max)
  • Rockford Fosgate FNX1514 5.25" components (60-20kHz;8-70W RMS;90.2dB).
  • Rockford Fosgate 200a4 4-ch amplifier (using 100x2 RMS)
  • Rockford Fosgate 100a2 2-ch amplifier (using 100x1 RMS)
  • Pioneer 10" Bandbass Subwoofer
  • (2) PAC line-level converters

Ryan from WDCCGP helped me out.. thanks for all the patience RYAN!!! if you have some questions about stereo... dccato@aol.com may be able to help :) It sounds a lot clearer now.. I just can't describe it... time to save up for a new headunit now!!! :)

These are just preliminary pictures, more to come soon showing the setup. I got a lot of information on the install from the ClubGP audio site.
