ASCD Hood

It took a while, but finally another manufacturer came out with a affordable hood replacement. This is the hood from ASCD(American Sports Car Design).

It took a little while to produce, but it arrived neatly packaged in a huge box that I got sent to the body shop. There they matched my paint using PPG paint. It cost me $300 to paint the sucker.

The hood has a very nice fit, and looks great. It is supposed to be a direct replica of the 300GPX hood from Pontiac's show car. Below are pictures:


Some GP owners out there also wonder how the Mecham Hood looks in comparison. So here are some pictures from Phil Pinkepank (Hope I spelled it right! :) From the Grand Prix Gathering
