It was quite fun drag racing .. but I needed to test all aspects of performance on
my GTP. So I decided to go autocrossing! I went once and became hooked. It was
so much more fun than drag racing! Basically.. an autocross is a closed course set up with
cones. There are slaloms, 90 degrees turns, S-turns, and U turns. You never do
really get too high of a speed. A good site to goto if you are interested in
starting autocrossing is: Philly Region Page
I ended up getting 1st place in ESP class in the Philly Region SCCA Winter Series! Results from
that event are Here! If anyone has any questions about autocrossing, what class your car belongs in, etc.
feel free to send me an email: wguido@wam.umd.edu Below are some pictures for you
to enjoy! :)
