Here is some information on the all new 1997/98 Pontiac Grand Prix:
My 1997 Grand Prix GT is fully loaded with every option, including the Sunroof, Rear window antena and Dual Zone Climate controll!
In 1996 Pontiac Launched the new Pontiac Grand Prix Widetrack Series
to make a move to beat Ford and Toyota with the Tarus and Camry. The Grand Prix
is powered by a 3.1L V6 or an option on the SE for the 3800 series II
engine. If you equip your GT with a GTP package you will get the
most powerfull engine in it's class pushing 240 BHP! And with an average
0-60 rating of 6.4 to 6.9 seconds this car beats stock Mustang Gt's.
The GT with the 3800 series II engine gets up to 0-60 in aprox 7.3
to 7.6 seconds which is fast for a heavy 3500 pound car.
I own and drive a Pontiac Grand Prix GT everyday
and am very happy with it. It's (performance),(road feel), and looks
from gawkers well never turn you down. In my opinon the GT, And GTP
Beat the Ford Tarus SHO HANDS DOWN!
